2022 Energy Message for the Collective

Uncategorized Mar 22, 2022

This is the message I shared for the Collective on my YouTube channel for the Energy of 2022.

This is my first time doing this, but I feel called to offer this message and I’m curious to reflect both each month and at the end of the year!

Right away as I settled into meditation to receive these energy messages, I could feel fairy/angel beings in my aura. It feels like a decisive year and it can go whichever way you allow it...

September Akashic Council Message for the Collective

What is it about humans? We seem to need to be hit over the head to change instead of allowing the small hints and whispers lead us in the direction we need.

I connected with my Akashic Council to receive a message for the collective for September 2021, here is the wisdom they provided.

September had the collective energy of turmoil and discomfort; the feeling of being flipped upside down and spun around. The energy felt like it...

Human Design Terms

Defined

These are areas in your chart that are consistent in your life.

Undefined

These are areas that are open to conditioning by defined areas in others’ charts.

Undefined areas can be amplified through being around someone with that area defined - for example, someone with a defined Emotional Solar Plexus will have a consistent emotional wave; however, when someone with an undefined ESP is around this defined ESP, they may feel...

Recipe: Coconut Curry Turmeric Soup (Vegan)

There's this coconut curry turmeric soup at a local restaurant in Vancouver that is what cravings are made of...and that restaurant is currently closed due to COVID-19.

So, I took it upon myself to attempt my own version, knowing that I was missing one of the key ingredients.

1 tsp Coconut Oil
1/2 Onion (chopped)
2 inch Ginger
2-4 cloves Garlic (depending on size)
1 1/2 Tbsp Turmeric
1 Tbsp Curry Powder
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
2/3 block Medium or...

Recipe: "Butter" Tofu Cauliflower (Vegan - coconut milk)

I've made this a few times now and I FINALLY wrote down the proportions!

This is a super warm and comforting Indian-inspired dish based on Butter Chicken, but it's 100% vegan!

Seasoned Tofu & Cauliflower

  • 3/4 block Firm Tofu
  • 1/2 head Cauliflower
  • 3/4 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Curry Powder

I have mixing bowls with lids so I put all these ingredients into the bowl, put the lid on and shake. Let sit while you...

Lagging Action & Three Steps to Build Momentum

Sometimes we know we want to take action on something, but we're not quite ready to take that action.

You've made a decision, or you're on the precipice of making a decision, but there's a lag between that decision being made and you feeling ready to take the action. This is what I'm calling Lagging Action.

This usually happens with those big, life-changing decisions - like leaving your job, moving cities, even changing your...

Six-Week Goals and How to Work Them

It's that time of the year again, when the collective is focused on setting Annual Goals.

According to Forbes and Inc. only 8% of people actually accomplish their New Years Resolutions and around 80% lose their resolve by mid-February. So why do we keep doing this!?

It's with good intention and the desire to create change in our life!

As a coach, I am here to tell you that change is possible and it is possible for you!

It's a matter...

Recipe: Perfect Instant Pot Black Beans with Quinoa or Rice, Kale, and Lime-Cashew Cream

I've made two variations of this now and love both of them.

This is a super simple and oh so stereotypically vegan meal. I was laughing as I described it to someone, but it's so yummy!

Perfect Instant Pot Black Beans

(adapted from Well Planted)
1 C Dried Black Beans - rinsed
1 1/4 C Water
1 tsp Vegetable Bouillon
Stick of Kombu
Dash Cumin (optional)

Add everything to your Instant Pot, (set to sealing, not venting).

You are Worthy because You Are

I've heard this and said this so many times. It was this morning when I was talking about expecting someone in my organization to talk to me this week about my merit.

My organization calls our annual salary review "merit".

This morning my friend stopped me and said in her perfectly matter-of-fact way "you have merit and nothing they say or do can change that".

Words have so much meaning and I was allowing this conversation about my merit...

Recipe: Southwest Quinoa and Black Bean Stew (Instant Pot)

I don't know what I was going for when I created this, but somehow it came together!

I was thinking about a vegetable soup, then I was thinking a minestrone which led to some black beans...anyway, it turned into some type of southwest inspired soup/stew thing and I'm not mad about it!

Instant Pot Black Beans

1 C Dried Black Beans (no need to soak)
1 3/4 C Vegetable Broth (I've been using this one recently)
1 piece of Kombu (this helps us...
